Christine Tsvetanov

Managing Director

Christine Tsvetanov (aka CT) was born in Bulgaria and immigrated to the United States at age twelve. She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences and also holds an MBA. She has over twenty years of experience in the Art, Fashion, and Beauty industries.

Often the woman behind the artist, Christine manages all aspects of the business end with dedication and a great sense of humor. She has planned projects and helped artists realize exhibitions, first as the Director of Operations at American Fine Arts and later as the Managing Director at Mariko Mori Studio. She has coordinated museum exhibitions, both in the United States and internationally, including the interactive installation Wave UFO, which premiered in New York City in 2003 and became part of the permanent collection of the PinchukArtCentre in Kiev, Ukraine.

Christine approaches her role at Whittemore House with her art background in mind. She views the salon the same way she would a gallery: a place to create and exhibit art. As a manager, she is constantly finding ways to turn Victoria and Larry's ideas into reality, shaping and maintaining the integrity of the Whittemore House brand. Christine has co-produced a film about the salon, showcasing the hair painting technique and the unique atmosphere that makes the Whittemore House experience a singular one. Her artistic eye and business savvy have made her an invaluable asset in assisting Victoria and Larry with the development of the salon's first signature candle as well as packaging and product development for Whittemore House's upcoming line of products. Her reach also extends to nurturing the salon's ongoing commitment to education, coordinating and promoting our bi-monthly Hair Painting Seminars which consistently draw rave reviews from top colorists across the country and abroad. She looks forward to working on future creative projects with Victoria, Larry, and the Whittemore House team.
